Most clients require 6-10 sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart depending on hair thickness, color, and skin tone. We assess your growth pattern during consultation and create a customized treatment plan to achieve optimal long-term reduction.

Most clients describe mild pinprick or heat sensations during treatment. We use cooling systems and adjustable settings to minimize discomfort. Topical numbing can be applied if needed, making the procedure well tolerated for the majority of patients.

Advanced lasers at Highline Aesthetics are selected to treat a broad range of skin tones safely. Darker skin may require specific settings or devices. Lighter, fine hairs are more challenging but we evaluate suitability and recommend the best approach for each client.

Shave the treatment area 24 hours prior and avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or self-tanners for at least two weeks. Do not wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams before sessions. Inform us about medications or recent skin treatments.

Hair sheds gradually over days to weeks after each session. Visible reduction typically appears after two to three treatments, with optimal long-term results after the full recommended series. Occasional touch-ups may be needed to maintain a smooth chest.

Common short-term effects include redness, mild swelling, or follicular bumps that resolve within a few days. Serious complications are rare when performed by certified providers. Avoid sun and apply recommended aftercare; most clients return to normal activities immediately.
